Why is it important to know the characteristics of home electrical wiring?
Every home has a certain connected power and type of phases (1-phase or 3-phase system). In addition, we have various electricity consumers in the household (heat pump, sauna, induction, air conditioning, etc.), which affect the load on the system.

What do I need to choose the right filling station?
Before purchasing and installing, it is a good idea to prepare the following information:
- The connected power of the facility and the number of phases → Determines whether a charging station up to 11 kW or up to 22 kW is suitable.
- Larger consumers in the facility → If there are larger consumers in the facility, such as a heat pump or sauna, it is recommended to use the DLM module (dynamic adjustment of charging power). This module allows the charging power to be automatically reduced when other consumers are active - thus preventing overload and power outages.

Practical example:
- Andrej buys a VW ID.3 (11 kW) and chooses a Dazebox Home charging station (22 kW).
- The inspection shows: 3-phase system, 13 kW connected power, larger consumers (heat pump, sauna, induction, 2 air conditioners).
- A DLM module is recommended for safe charging depending on the network load.
- After installation: – lower consumption → 11 kW – higher consumption → ~8 kW
- Without the DLM, the main fuse would fail.
